LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Cincinnati men’s and women’s swimming and diving program fell to Louisville inside the Ralph Wright Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.
The women’s team fell 81-207, while the men’s team was defeated 64-235.
Joleigh Crye led the women’s team with a first-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.70.
Hannah Johnson, Mia Hensley and Kate Mardis highlighted the meet with second-place finishes. Johnson posted a 16:47.56 in the 1650-yard freestyle, Hensley clocked a 2:01.09 in the 200-yard butterfly, and Mardis recorded a 53.98 in the 100-yard butterfly.
On the men’s side, Aiden Gerst led by grabbing second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:28.71.
Langely Petersen took first in the platform dive with a score of 238.73, while Campbell Lively recorded second in the 3-meter dive (279.68), respectively.
For the men’s diving team, Ramez Diaa claimed a victory in the platform dive with a score of 372.38.
