CINCINNATI — The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team wraps up its three-match road swing against Wofford at 2 p.m. ET on Friday at Gibbs Stadium.
The match will be broadcast via ESPN+.
UC is looking to bounce back after a 17-10 road setback at Marquette last weekend.

Cincinnati fell 17–10 to Marquette at Valley Fields, dropping its first road contest of the season.
The Bearcats started strong, building a 4-2 lead after the first quarter behind a 3-0 run sparked by junior Paige Counts and sophomore Paige Selhorn. Counts finished the opening frame with two goals, while Selhorn netted one during the stretch.
Marquette shifted the momentum in the second quarter, holding Cincinnati scoreless while rattling off seven unanswered goals to take a 9-4 lead into halftime. The Golden Eagles carried that surge into the third, outscoring UC 6-1 in the period to extend the margin to 15-5. Freshman Payton Kozina accounted for the Bearcats’ lone goal in the quarter.
Selhorn delivered a standout performance, tallying five goals and two assists, including four goals in the fourth quarter. Her late surge trimmed the deficit, but Marquette closed out the 17-10 decision.
The Golden Eagles outshot Cincinnati 28-16 in shots on goal and forced 23 turnovers, 15 of which were caused.
// SCOUTING WOFFORD
Wofford enters the matchup at 0-1 after falling 14-5 to Davidson in its season opener. The Wildcats built a 9-2 halftime lead and pulled away late despite a competitive third quarter from the Terriers.
McKenzie Moeller paced Wofford with three goals, including two in the third quarter. Katie Brosseau added a goal and two assists, while Emma Stalteri scored her 100th career goal in the first quarter. Vivian Chiomento controlled seven draws, surpassing 150 for her career.
Goalkeeper Hannah Taylor recorded 15 saves, while Brooke Meltcher led the team with five ground balls. Davidson held advantages in shots (39-13) and caused turnovers (10-4).
The Terriers were outscored 4-1 in the opening quarter and trailed 9-2 at halftime before Moeller’s pair of goals helped Wofford edge the third-quarter scoring margin. Davidson, however, closed the game with four unanswered goals.
