TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women’s tennis program defeated Miami (OH), 4-3, at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio on Saturday night.

The Redhawks started the match by claiming the doubles point. The junior pair of Morgan Pyrz and Sakurako Watanabe had the only doubles victory for the Bearcats on court No. 2 versus Nina Chavez and Maria Komar, 6-3.
Cincinnati brought the energy in singles play tallying four single match wins. Watanabe earned the first singles victory against Lovisa Valentinsson in a quick 6-1, 6-0 match.
Followed by Tara Kurepa securing her singles win over Avery Voss on court No. 4 and Rozalia Gruszczynska recording another singles win on court No. 2 versus Allie Faulkner.
Milica Popovski tallied the last singles victory to bring the Bearcats up, 4-3, to take home a win against the Redhawks.
