TicketsTHE WOODLANDS, Texas – The University of Cincinnati women’s golf team placed third at the Texas Golf Throwdown on Tuesday.
Cincinnati carded rounds of 308-296-299 to finish third in the 15-team field, moving up one spot after Monday’s opening 36 holes. Iowa State claimed the team title at 2-under, followed by Nebraska (+37).
Ellise Rymer and Rim Imni both secured top-15 individual finishes to pace the Bearcats.
Rymer tied for 11th at 6-over (222). After firing a 2-under 70 in Monday’s second round, she closed with a steady 2-over 74 on Tuesday to earn her highest finish of the spring.
Imni tied for 14th at 7-over (223), highlighted by an even-par 72 in the final round. She carded two birdies to climb four spots on the leaderboard.
Yu-Wei Chiang (17th), Clara Willem (32nd) and Mar Garcia Jimenez (56th) followed in order for the Bearcats.
