CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati women’s soccer defender Emma Gioffre has been selected to participate in the NCAA Legacy Lab, a multi-day entrepreneurship program hosted by the NCAA from February 26 through March 1 in Indianapolis.

The Legacy Lab is designed to help Division I student-athletes explore entrepreneurship and develop their personal brands while still competing at the collegiate level. Participants engage in hands-on learning sessions, mentorship opportunities and collaborative workshops focused on building long-term professional success.

During the program, Gioffre will select from three educational tracks: a name, image and likeness (NIL) track focused on responsible monetization strategies; a business fundamentals one centered on starting and scaling a venture; and a social impact track designed to help student-athletes build purpose-driven enterprises.

Through immersive programming, Gioffre will translate the discipline, leadership and work ethic she has developed as a starter for the Bearcats into practical business and branding skills, leaving the program with a concrete plan for life beyond athletics.

“I am beyond excited for the opportunity to connect with other NCAA collegiate athletes and mentors through this program, while learning more about growing my personal brand and how what I have learned in collegiate athletics will apply to the rest of my professional career!” Gioffre said.

Gioffre’s selection reflects her commitment to maximizing opportunities both on and off the field while representing the University of Cincinnati.
