CINCINNATI — The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team hits the road to take on Robert Morris at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday at Joe Walton Stadium.

The match will be broadcast on ESPN+.

// DOMINATING THE OFFENSE
Sophomore Paige Selhorn continues to cement herself as one of the nation’s top offensive threats.

The Westbury, N.Y., native ranks second nationally in total assists (19), second in points (34) and fifth in goals (15). She also leads the Big 12 in assists per game (3.8) and ranks second in both goals per game (3.0) and points per game (6.8).

Her seven-assist performance against Central Michigan marked a new single-game program record and was part of her continued offensive surge this season.

Selhorn was named the Week 2 Big 12 Attacker of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday, after totaling 13 points across two games. She recorded seven assists and six goals over the week, highlighted by a career-high eight-point performance (four goals, four assists) in a 17-7 road win at Wofford. Both totals are tied for 10th in program history for a single game. She followed with two goals and three assists against Ohio State.

// DOMINATING THE DRAW
Led by sophomore Morgan Handzel, the Bearcats have established themselves as one of the nation’s premier draw units.

Handzel has totaled 54 draw controls this season — 10.8 per game — which ranks seventh nationally. Her 14 draws against Xavier are the second-most in a single game in program history, while her 13 against Ohio State are tied for fourth-most.

As a team, Cincinnati is averaging 17 draw controls per contest — ninth nationally and first in the Big 12 — while posting a .639 draw percentage that ranks 16th in the country and leads the conference.

// LAST TIME OUT
Cincinnati returned to the win column in dominant fashion, defeating Central Michigan, 14-6, on Friday afternoon at Nippert Stadium.

Selhorn delivered a historic performance, recording a school-record seven assists to go along with three goals for 10 points. The Bearcats controlled the contest from start to finish, breaking open a 1-0 first quarter with a 5-1 run in the second, highlighted by three Lexie Wolfe goals to build an 8-2 halftime lead.

Wolfe tied her career high with four goals while adding four ground balls and four caused turnovers in an all-around effort. Handzel paced the draw circle with 13 controls as Cincinnati outshot Central Michigan, 27-15, and forced 20 turnovers.

Junior Paige Counts added her eighth goal of the season, while Amadi Higgins, Krista Harnischfeger and Chloe Paige each found the back of the net — with Higgins, Harnischfeger and Paige all tallying their first goals as Bearcats. Cincinnati improved to 3-2 on the year with the victory.

// SCOUTING ROBERT MORRIS
Robert Morris enters the matchup fresh off a dramatic 13-12 victory over Duquesne, sealed by a last-second free-position goal from Mia Berthoff at Joe Walton Stadium.

The Colonials showcased their offensive depth, with Berthoff leading the way with four goals and an assist. Lea Otts, Madison Prietz, Taylor Burkett and Jade Doldo each added two goals, while Gabi Puzevich contributed one. Prietz also dished out two assists and secured six draw controls.

Berthoff powers Robert Morris on both ends of the field, leading the team in goals (13), ground balls (8) and caused turnovers (5).

In goal, Lucy Carney earned the win in relief, recording four saves and five ground balls after entering in the second quarter.

The Colonials showed resilience, overcoming an 11-10 deficit entering the fourth quarter against Duquesne and responding with timely goals down the stretch to secure the rivalry win.
