BOCA RATON, Fla. – The University of Cincinnati women’s golf team bounced back with a strong second round to move up the leaderboard at the FAU Paradise Invitational on Tuesday at Osprey Point Golf Club.
The Bearcats trimmed 31 strokes off their score in round two, posting a -1 on the Raven/Falcon course. The improvement helped Cincinnati climb two spots on the leaderboard entering the final day of competition.
Ellise Rymer led the Bearcats in round two with a two-under 70, vaulting 34 spots into a tie for 23rd on the individual leaderboard. Mar Garcia Jimenez followed with a 71 (-1), climbing 19 positions into a tie for 38th.
Rim Imni and Yu-Wei Chiang each carded 73 (+1), while Clara Willem rounded out the lineup with a 79.
