TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women’s tennis program fell on the road against Oklahoma State, 1-4, on Sunday at the Greenwood Tennis Center.

The Bearcats fell short to the Cowgirls in doubles play to start the match. Oklahoma State secured the doubles points with victories on courts No. 1 and No. 2.
On court No. 1, Oklahoma State’s Anastasiya Komar and Rose Marie Nijkamp defeated Cincinnati’s Rozalia Gruszczynska and Anastasija Arsic 6-0. Olivia Lincer and Luca Udvardy rounded out the doubles point on court two, defeating Sakurako Watanabe and Milica Popovski 6-0.
Cincinnati earned its lone point in singles play through a win by forfeit for Popovski on court No. 6.
Oklahoma State claimed singles victories on court No. 4 (6-4, 6-1), court No. 1 (6-0, 6-2), and court No. 2 (6-4, 7-5) to secure the win. This left contests on courts No. 3 and 5 unfinished.
