CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team heads west to play against BYU on Thursday and Utah on Saturday.
First serve against the Cougars is set for 2 p.m. ET on Thursday and 1 p.m. ET on Saturday versus the Utes.
Cincinnati (6-5) comes into the road trip looking to bounce back after dropping two matches at home against Baylor, 4-0 and TCU, 4-0.
The Bearcats fought hard against one ranked opponent, #21 TCU, but fell short. Freshman Tara Kurepa fought hard in her singles match, taking a 5-4 lead in the second set, but the match was left unfinished.
The Bearcats are led by Junior Sakurako Watanabe, who owns a 6-3 record on court three and a 6-3 doubles record.

BYU comes into the match presenting an 11-4 record and an 0-3 record in conference play. The Cougars dropped their last match against Utah, 2-4.
The Wildcats' doubles are led by the duo of YuYun Chen and Kendall Kovick. They present a mark of 6-2, playing on court No. 2.
In singles, BYU is led by Bella Lewis, who holds a record of 8-2 on courts No. 5 and 6.

Utah enters the weekend with a record of 7-5 overall and 1-2 in conference play. Before hosting Cincinnati, the Utes will take on West Virginia (6-5) on Thursday in Salt Lake City.
Utah secured a huge victory in its last match, defeating fellow Big 12 opponent, BYU, 4-2.
This win marked the Utes with an undefeated 6-0 record on their home courts this season.
In singles, Emma Kamper holds down court one for Utah, as she has an 8-2 record. Sara Akid and Kaila Barksdale also boast impressive 8-1 records across courts two, three, and four.
In doubles, the Utes are led by the duo of Kamper and Emma Valletta. The pair holds a 7-4 record on court No. 1 for Utah.
