ATLANTA, Ga. – University of Cincinnati senior Joleigh Crye cemented her legacy as one of the program’s all-time greats Thursday night at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships in Atlanta.
Crye and junior Lindi Worrell represented the Bearcats both in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Crye placed eighth in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 58.59, earning First Team All-America honors for the second consecutive season. The final was one of the fastest in NCAA history.
Earlier in the day, Crye shattered her own school record in the prelims for the second time this season, touching in 57.90 to secure a spot in the A final with a sixth-place finish.
Also representing Cincinnati, Lindi Worrell competed in the same event and delivered a strong performance, recording a personal-best 59.26 to place 21st in the nation.
