CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati football program welcomed every NFL team to the Sheakley Indoor Practice Facility and Performance Center this week, with Tuesday morning marking its first Pro Day on campus since the storied 2022 class.

The long-awaited return of its pageantry came after the facility's renovations that moved the event to the Bengals' home in 2023, followed by the Big 12's hosted Pro Day in Frisco, Texas, each of the last two years.

Seventeen Bearcats took part in the morning's action, with new quarterback JC French IV serving as the quarterback for the offensive skill players.

Four players (Jeff Caldwell, Dontay Corleone, Jake Golday and Joe Royer) also took part in the official NFL Combine.

Golday, who said he surpassed his goal on the bench press with 22 reps and improved his L-drill, recalled his two years in the program, arriving in April 2024 from Central Arkansas and finishing as a First-Team All-Big 12 performer.

"I'm keeping my draft night a little tight for just family, but Coach (Cortney) Braswell got an invite," he said. "He's done a lot for me throughout this process. He's got me a lot better. If you look at me from 2024-25, I've grown as a player in a huge amount, and that's really accounted to him."

Cyrus Allen, the Big 12's leader in touchdown receptions last year with 13, clocked a 4.47 in the 40-yard dash.
