The Mountaineers clinched the doubles point after claiming victories on courts No. 2 and No. 3, leaving court No. 1 unfinished.
In singles play, West Virginia took the first three single match victories on courts No. 2, No. 4 and No. 3 to clinch the match.
On court No. 1, junior Gabrielle Guenther fought hard going to a third set (6-4, 4-6, 1-4 uf) when the match was decided, leaving it unfinished.
Tara Kurepa (4-2) and Milica Popovski’s (2-1) courts also went unfinished as they were both leading in their first sets.
