RALEIGH, N.C. — A program record from Orry Willems anchored the University of Cincinnati men's and women's track and field teams' final day of competition on Saturday at the Raleigh Relays.

Willems, a graduate, rewrote the UC record book in the men's hammer throw, launching a mark of 66.07m to claim the program record and a third-place finish individually.

On the track, senior Camden Beatty made his mark in the men's 400m hurdles, posting a 51.19 — the fourth-fastest time in UC history and a fourth-place finish.

Graduate Prince McAbelo and junior Gianni Allwein rounded out the men's efforts, as Allwein notched an 11th-place finish with a time of 1:49.90 and McAbelo notched the ninth all-time mark in the 800m, clocking a 1:50.07.

The women's side matched the men's energy, with Miranda Tcheutchoua throwing a 60.32m in the hammer for the third-best mark in program history and a fifth-place finish. Redshirt junior Macaria Moore-Bastide cleared 1.77m in the high jump to place ninth all-time in the UC record books.
