CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women’s basketball team placed two student-athletes on the Big 12’s postseason honors list, the league announced Tuesday.

Senior Mya Perry earned All-Big 12 Third Team recognition, while freshman Caliyah DeVillasee was named to the All-Big 12 Freshman Team. It marks the third straight season a Bearcat has received a Big 12 end-of-year honor (Jillian Hayes, 2024 and 2025).

Perry closed the regular season with 530 points, ranking 11th in program single-season history and becoming the first Bearcat to surpass 500 points since 2020-21. She is tied for fifth in school history with 78 made threes in a season.

The Reynoldsburg, Ohio native ranks fifth in the Big 12 in scoring (17.7) and third in both three-pointers made (78) and threes per game (2.6). She scored in double figures 27 times, recorded 11 20-point performances (seventh in the Big 12), and was named to the Big 12 Starting Five on Jan. 20.

DeVillasee surpassed 100 assists, becoming just the fourth freshman in program history to reach the mark and the first since 2006-07. Despite missing four games, her 103 assists are the most by a Bearcat in a season since 2021-22.

The Owings Mills, Md., native ranks 14th in the Big 12 in scoring (14.7), 11th in assists (4.0), and 12th in field goal percentage (.411). Her six 20-point games are the most by a Cincinnati freshman since 2002-03 and tied for the second most by a Big 12 freshman this season. She is one of three freshmen nationally averaging at least 14 points, four assists and three rebounds per game, earning Big 12 Freshman of the Week twice and a Starting Five nod once.

Perry and DeVillasee combined to lead the team in scoring in 25 games and scored 20+ points in the same game three times this season.

No. 13 seed Cincinnati opens the Big 12 Tournament against No. 12 seed Kansas State at noon ET on Wednesday in Kansas City.
