CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team hits the road one last time this season to take on Dayton, Iowa State, and Kansas this week.

First serve against the Flyers is set for 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday at the South Regency Tennis Center, 5 p.m. ET on Friday versus the Cyclones at their Iowa State Tennis Facility, and 1:00 p.m. ET against the Jayhawks in the Jayhawks Tennis Center.

Cincinnati (6-10) enters the road trip looking to bounce back after falling to Big 12 opponent, West Virginia, 0-4 on Saturday at the Schoenbaum Tennis Courts in Morgantown.

Junior Gabrielle Guenther fought hard in her singles match on court No. 1 against WVU’s Audrey Moutama, as the match had entered a hard fought third set (6-4, 4-6, 1-4 uf) but it was left unfinished after the match was decided.

// SCOUTING THE FLYERS

Dayton comes into the matchup holding a 5-11 record and a 2-2 record in Atlantic 10 Conference play. The Flyers are coming off of a weekend of two conference matchups against Davidson and Saint Louis. They fell 2-5 to Davidson on Friday and 3-4 on Saturday against Saint Louis.

Mallory Hitchcock is currently leading the charge for the Flyers in singles and holds a 14-10 record across courts No. 5 and No. 6. Hitchcock is currently on a hot streak and has won seven of her last 10 matches.

In doubles, Hitchcock and teammate Baby Jordan have secured a team best 9-5 record together while playing on court No. 2, also winning seven of their last 10 matchups.

// SCOUTING THE CYCLONES

Iowa State enters the weekend with a record of 2-14 and 0-9 in conference play. The Cyclones look to bounce back against the Bearcats after falling to #16 Arizona State, 0-4, on Saturday,

In singles, Stanislava Shulzhenko holds the highest number of victories for the Cyclones and holds a record of 6-7. On the doubles side, Alicia Dale and Gabriella Kellner currently hold a win streak of two on court No. 3.

// SCOUTING THE JAYHAWKS

Kansas enters the week with a record of 9-9 and 5-4 in conference play. Before hosting Cincinnati, the Jayhawks will take on West Virginia (7-9) on Friday in Lawrence.

The Jayhawks look to bounce back after falling to Arizona, on Saturday, 0-4.

In singles, the Jayhawks are led by Kyoka Kuba who boasts an 8-3 record on court No. 1. Kubo is currently on a five match win streak in singles play.

The Jayhawk charge in doubles is led by the duo of Meg McCarty and He Janse Van Vuuren. The pair holds a 5-2 record on court No. 3 and have won their last three matchups.
