The University of Cincinnati women’s golf team wraps up the regular season with the Boilermaker Spring Classic on Sunday and Monday at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette.

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women’s golf team wraps up the regular season with the Boilermaker Spring Classic on Sunday and Monday at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette.  

Both days will begin with a 9 a.m. ET shotgun start. The event will be held at the par-72, 6,211-yard Ackerman-Allen Course.

Cincinnati's lineup features Mar Garcia Jimenez, Rim Imni, Ellise Rymer, Clara Willem and Yu-Wei Chiang. Angela Gomez will compete as an individual. 

The field includes Purdue, Bradley, Butler, Chattanooga, Denver, Findlay, Illinois, Illinois State, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Princeton, Purdue Fort Wayne, South Dakota State, USF and Wisconsin.

The Bearcats are coming off a fifth-place performance at the Chevron Silverado Showdown. UC posted a season-low 880 to finish ahead of several nationally ranked opponents, including No. 39 CSU Fullerton, No. 44 California, No. 45 Oregon State and No. 48 Colorado.

Mar Garcia Jimenez led the way with a standout week, posting a season-low, four-under 212 to place seventh individually.

Up next, the Bearcats will compete in the Big 12 Championships on April 23-25 in Dallas, Texas.
