TicketsCINCINNATI, Ohio – The University of Cincinnati women’s tennis program fell to Houston, 4-0, outside at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center on Sunday in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Cougars claimed the doubles point from victories on courts No. 3 and 1. The duo of Gabrielle Guenther and Tara Kurepa earned the only doubles match win on court No. 2, 6-2.
In singles play, Houston clinched the win by having the first three consecutive single match victories on courts No. 3, 4 and 5.
Guenther battled throughout her singles match against Elizaveta Morozova, trailing 0-6, 6-3, 2-2 when the match was clinched on court No. 1.
On court No. 2, Rozalia Gruszczynska also had a tough fight holding a lead 6-3, 6-6 before the match was decided.
Senior Isabel Pacheco battled hard on court No. 6 leading 6-4, 3-3 over the Cougar’s Gabriela Cortas before the match concluded.
Three seniors were honored after in postmatch ceremony including Caterina Greco, Rozalia Gruszczynska and Isabel Pacheco.
