The University of Cincinnati women’s golf team closed out the Boilermaker Spring Classic with a sixth-place finish.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The University of Cincinnati women’s golf team closed out the Boilermaker Spring Classic with a sixth-place finish.

The Bearcats posted rounds of 310-293-304 to finish with a 907 total, holding their position in the standings after 36 holes.

Rim Imni led Cincinnati with a 22nd-place finish, carding a three-round total of 226.

Yu-Wei Chiang paced the Bearcats in the final round, firing a 1-over 73. She made a strong move up the leaderboard, climbing 25 spots to finish tied for 30th.

Ellise Rymer matched Chiang in a tie for 30th at 229, highlighted by her 3-under 69 in round two.

Mar Garcia Jimenez placed 39th, followed by Clara Willem in 49th. Competing as an individual, Angela Gomez finished 80th.

Cincinnati will return to action April 23-25 at the Big 12 Championships in Dallas, Texas.
