CINCINNATI – Cincinnati football will conclude spring practice with its Spring Showcase at noon Saturday.

The “Spring Game-style” event will feature an open practice with scrimmage periods and will be free to fans inside Historic Nippert Stadium.

Fans will be treated to a Fun Zone on Sheakley Lawn featuring prizes and giveaways, and top Bearcats will be available for autographs on the field following the game. A limited number of concessions and beer stands will be open, as well.

Led by preseason All-American Evan Tengesdahl, Cincinnati’s offensive line will be among the nation’s best. Tengesdahl was the PFF’s highest-rated guard in the Big 12 last year. All Big-12 left tackle Joe Cotton and right guard Taran Tyo return as well.

Transfer quarterback JC French IV brings 26 career starts and 45 total touchdowns over the last two seasons at Georgia Southern, where he became the program’s all-time leading passer. Through two spring scrimmages, he has thrown four touchdowns with no turnovers.

Cincinnati fans will also get a first look at the new defensive scheme under defensive coordinator Nate Woody, who joined the program in January and has installed a more aggressive 3-4 defense.

Fans will also see several of the 46 new additions to the roster, including 22 transfers.

Parking
Parking for the Spring Showcase will be available to fans at a pre-sale rate of $6 in Corry and Calhoun garages HERE. Campus Green will have parking on the day of the Spring Showcase for $10 (credit card only).
