CINCINNATI— The Cincinnati track and field team heads South to two different sites this weekend to compete.
On Thursday, April 16th, a group of Bearcats head to the two-day competition, Wake Forest Invitational, in Winston-Salem, N.C.
This massive event will feature 49 teams, including Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, and more.
Competition for the Bearcats begins Thursday evening when Prince Mcabelo races in the 800m Invite around 7:30 pm. Wrapping up for the Bearcats is Nickson Kogei, who competes in the 5,000m Invite at 10 pm on Friday.
The second group heads to the Tom Jones Memorial hosted by the University of Florida, which is set for events on both Friday, April 17th, and Saturday, April 18th.
Events begin at 12 pm on Friday in Florida and wrap up on Saturday at roughly 6:15 pm.

Last weekend, the Bearcats traveled to the 44 Farms Invitational hosted by Texas A&M University.
Two multi event Bearcats highlighted the trip, as Juliette Laracuente-Huebner set a program record in the heptathlon and Miller Mabury set a new freshman record in the decathlon.
