TicketsCINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati women’s basketball head coach Katrina Merriweather has announced the signing of transfer Amber Bullard.
Bullard, a 6-foot-4 center, comes to Cincinnati following one season at Mount St. Mary’s. She averaged 9.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 54% from the field across 32 appearances.
"Sometimes you know when you know," said Merriweather. "We were confident Amber was a great fit from our first conversation. Amber has the ability to finish in the paint, rebound, and run the floor which will make her an immediate impact. She plays with a toughness and aggression that will translate well to the Big 12. We look forward to continuing her development and working for this to be her best year. We welcome her and her family to The Sisterhood."
Bullard posted four double-doubles and 14 double-digit scoring performances in 2025-26. She led the Mount in rebounding, field goal percentage and blocks, and was second on the team in scoring.
Prior to her time at Mount St. Mary’s, Bullard competed at both Harcum College and La Salle. At Harcum, she led the country in field goal percentage at 67% and earned EPAC Player of the Year honors while averaging 14.8 points per game on a 24-6 team.
A native of Philadelphia, she started her career at La Salle, appearing in 26 games during the 2023-24 season.
A decorated standout at The Christian Academy, Bullard was a two-time Player of the Year and was named MVP of the Philadelphia All-American Game.
