CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati men’s basketball team has inked guard Myles Colvin for the 2026-27 season, first-year head coach Jerrod Calhoun announced Thursday. Colvin, who averaged 11.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in 2025-26 as a junior at Wake Forest, will have one season of eligibility remaining.
“Myles is a really versatile perimeter player,” Calhoun said. “He has a tremendous ability to make shots but also can be a lockdown defender. Myles will be a tremendous asset in so many of our offensive schemes.”
A native of Indianapolis, Colvin has played in 102 career games, making 32 starts. Including two years at Purdue and this past season for the Demon Deacons, Colvin has averaged 6.9 points and 2.7 rebounds per game, shooting 39.9% from the field, 35.1% from deep and 81.5% from the free-throw line.
Colvin broke out in his lone season in Winston-Salem, playing in 35 games and making 24 starts, while ranking second on the team with 11.6 points per game to go along with an 87.0% mark at the charity stripe. He was named ACC Player of the Week and Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week in mid-December following a 33-point outburst in a win over Queens. Colvin reached double figures scoring 21 times, including a pair of games of 30-or-more.
