Sophomore Paige Selhorn continues to cement herself as one of the nation's top offensive threats.
The Westbury, N.Y., native sits fourth in the country in total points (84) and ranks 11th in assists (39) and 18th in goals (45). Within the Big 12, she sits first in points per game (6.0) and second in assists per game (2.8), while ranking fourth in goals per game (3.2). In just her second season, Selhorn has already accumulated 149 career points — fifth most in program history. She also turned in a record-setting individual performance on Feb. 20, posting a school-record seven assists and three goals for 10 points in a 14-6 victory over Central Michigan.
// DOMINATING THE DRAW
Sophomore Morgan Handzel has totaled 143 draw controls this season — 10.2 per game, ranking seventh nationally — and continues to rewrite the record books in the process. As a team, Cincinnati posts a .610 draw percentage that ranks 12th in the country and second in the Big 12, while averaging 15.3 draws won per game — 16th nationally and second in the Big 12. Led by Handzel, the Bearcats have established themselves as one of the nation's premier draw units.
On March 8, Handzel delivered a historic performance against Eastern Michigan, tying the NCAA single-game record with 24 draw controls — shattering her own program record of 16 she had set just two days earlier against Kent State.
// LAST TIME OUT
Cincinnati fell to Arizona State 17-10 on Saturday at Nippert Stadium, dropping to 8-6 overall and 0-2 in Big 12 play.
The game was tied 4-all after the first quarter before Arizona State seized control with a 7-1 run stretching into the third quarter to build an insurmountable 11-5 lead. Cincinnati rallied with four fourth-quarter goals but could not close the gap. Senior Lexie Wolfe led the Bearcats with four goals — tying a career high — and added an assist. The Sun Devils outshot Cincinnati 33-21 and won the draw control battle 19-11.
// SCOUTING COLORADO
Colorado enters Saturday's matchup at 8-3 overall and 1-1 in Big 12 play after defeating Jacksonville 10-9 in overtime last weekend.

Junior attacker Teagan Ryan and senior midfielder Lily Assini each contribute offensively, with Assini leading the team in assists with 14 while also tying for the team high with 20 goals alongside senior attacker Maddie Shoup, who paces the Buffaloes with two assists in their most recent contest. Sophomore goalkeeper Elena Oh anchors the cage with six saves in the overtime victory. On defense, Jess Peluso leads Colorado with 20 caused turnovers and a team-best 33 draw controls. The Buffaloes have held every opponent to single-digit scoring this season.
