Ryan Ford Named All-Big 12 Second Team

Ryan Ford, a senior on the Cincinnati men’s golf team, has been named to the All-Big 12 Second Team, the conference office announced Monday. The award is the second-career postseason conference award for Ford, who was named to the All-American Athletic Conference team and the Conference’s Freshman of the Year in 2023.

CINCINNATI – Ryan Ford, a senior on the Cincinnati men’s golf team, has been named to the All-Big 12 Second Team, the conference office announced Monday. The award is the second-career postseason conference award for Ford, who was named to the All-American Athletic Conference team and the Conference’s Freshman of the Year in 2023.

Ford, who is on pace to shatter the Bearcats’ career scoring average mark set by Sam Jean, has been a mainstay in Cincinnati’s lineup all season. The Westfield, Ind., native who has a program-record 10 career top-10 finishes, leads the Bearcats with a 70.15 stroke average in 2025-26. Ford has four top-10’s as a senior and has finished in the top 20 in all 11 events this season.

Ford, who ranks 40th in the latest PGA TOUR University rankings, tied a program-record 64 at the Cullan Brown Collegiate in October, leads the Bearcats with has 16 under-par rounds in 33 times teeing it up this season. He is the 15th Bearcat to earn an all-conference honor in head coach Doug Martin’s tenure.

The Bearcats open postseason play May 18 at the NCAA Bryan Regional at Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas.
