CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati women’s golfer Ellise Rymer has received a sponsor invitation into this week’s Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G, where she will make her LPGA Tour debut at Maketewah Country Club from May 14-17.

Rymer becomes the first player in Cincinnati women’s golf program history to receive an invitation into the tournament.

“We are incredibly grateful to P&G, Kroger, and the tournament sponsors for providing Ellise with this opportunity,” said head coach Aimee Ponte. “The chance to compete in an LPGA Tour event alongside some of the best players in the world is a truly special experience. We are proud of the hard work Ellise has put into her game this year. This is a historic moment for both Ellise and our program.”

The 2026 field features 17 of the top 25 players in the world, giving Rymer the chance to compete alongside many of the LPGA Tour’s biggest names in front of a Cincinnati crowd.

Rymer is coming off a standout junior campaign for the Bearcats, leading the team with a 74.73 stroke average across 30 rounds while appearing in a team-high 11 events. She recorded five top-15 finishes during the season, including a runner-up finish at the Pat Bradley Invitational.
