EUGENE, Ore. — University of Cincinnati sprinters Kya Epps and Macaela Walker each claimed Second Team All-America honors Saturday, highlighting the Bearcats' second day of competition at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field.

Epps finished 11th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.82 seconds, while Walker crossed in 56.76 to place 16th in the 400-meter hurdles.

In the field, pole vaulter Abby Knouff capped a standout season with an 18th-place finish, clearing 4.09 meters.

Juliette Laracuente-Huebner is the lone Bearcat competing on Day Three as she begins the two-day grind of the heptathlon. The Marengo, Ohio native enters as one of the favorites to bring home the national championship. She currently has the second-highest point total in the country (6,086). Laracuente-Huebner achieved that mark at the Big 12 Championships, earning her the conference crown.
