Lloyd finished fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 45.87 seconds, qualifying him for Friday's final.

Mabury sits second in the decathlon after five events with 4,060 points. The Franklin, Tenn., native opened with a 10th-place finish in the 100 meters, registering an 11.10 for 910 points, before winning the long jump with a leap of 7.40 meters for 910 points.
