Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Team and Individual ITA Scholar-Athlete Honors

The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team earned ITA All-Academic Team honors, while all nine student-athletes in the program were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes.

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team earned ITA All-Academic Team honors, while all nine student-athletes in the program were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes.

The Bearcats earned the recognition with an impressive 3.9375 team GPA, with eight student-athletes named to the Honor Roll (3.0+ GPA), eight earning Dean's List (3.4+ GPA) and six achieving TopCats honors (4.0 GPA).

To earn ITA All-Academic Team recognition, a program must achieve a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The calculation includes all student-athletes listed on the institutional eligibility form, as well as the GPAs of all varsity letter winners from the current academic year.

All nine Bearcats earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors: Caterina Greco, Isabel Pacheco, Sakurako Watanabe, Morgan Pyrz, Anastasija "Ana" Arsic, Rozalia Gruszczynska, Gabrielle Guenther, Tara Kurepa and Milica Popovski.

To receive ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition, student-athletes must maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale during the current academic year while being listed on the institutional eligibility form.
