TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati baseball program has received the Team Academic Excellence Award from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), the organization announced on Wednesday.
Cincinnati has earned this award every year since 2016.
This past semester, the Bearcats posted a 3.47 team GPA and had 33 student-athletes land on the University’s Honor Roll (3.0 GPA or higher). Twenty-eight players earned a 3.5 GPA or higher to receive a spot on the Dean’s List, and three posted a perfect 4.0 GPA.
In addition five players were named Academic All District (Adam Buczkowski, Logan Knight, Christian Mitchelle, Jack Natili, and Charlie Niehaus), while Natili became the fifth player in program history to be named an Academic All-American.
