CINCINNATI — The University of Cincinnati women’s golf team has announced its 2026-27 schedule, featuring 11 tournaments across the fall and spring seasons, head coach Aimee Ponte announced Tuesday.

The Bearcats will compete in five tournaments during the fall before returning to action for six spring events, culminating with the Big 12 Championship in Las Vegas.

Cincinnati opens the season Sept. 21-22 at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational in Lexington, Ky. The Bearcats then head to Colbert Hills Golf Club in Manhattan, Kan., for the Powercat Invitational on Sept. 28-29.

The fall slate continues Oct. 3-5 at The Blessings Collegiate Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., before Cincinnati travels to the Abilene Christian Intercollegiate Oct. 19-21 at Halbert National.

The Bearcats close the fall portion of their schedule with the Keswick Cup on Oct. 26 in Keswick, Va.

Cincinnati returns to competition Jan. 31-Feb. 2 at the Purdue Dominican Republic Classic at Cocotal Country Club in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The spring schedule continues with the Alice and John Wallace Women’s Golf Classic Feb. 13-15 in Monterey, Calif., followed by the Alamo Invitational March 9-10 in San Antonio, Texas.

The Bearcats then compete at the MountainView Collegiate March 14-16 at The Preserve in Tucson, Ariz., before closing the regular season April 5-6 at the Huntington Bank Collegiate in Dallas.

Cincinnati will compete in the Big 12 Women's Golf Championship April 21-23 at the Las Vegas Country Club in Las Vegas. It marks the Big 12’s first championship to take place in the state of Nevada.

The 2026-27 season marks another opportunity for Ponte and the Bearcats to build on the program's recent momentum. In 2025-26, Cincinnati posted its first top-100 team ranking since the 2007-08 season. Senior Ellise Rymer led the Bearcats with a 73.73 stroke average across 30 rounds and later captured the 2026 English Women's Amateur Championship.
