CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati baseball team announced its 2027 schedule on Thursday, a slate that is highlighted by 26 home games at UC Baseball Stadium.

The Bearcats will play 13 games against 2026 NCAA Tournament teams, including tilts against NCAA Regional hosts Georgia Tech, Kansas, and West Virginia.

Cincinnati’s 2027 Big 12 home opponents will be Houston, Arizona, TCU, Kansas State, and UCF. UC will visit conference opponents Utah, Texas Tech, Kansas, West Virginia, and Baylor.

Previously announced non-conference games include the Bearcats’ trips to Jacksonville and Nashville. UC will face Illinois, Georgia Tech, and Tennessee at the Live Like Lou Jax College Baseball Classic on Feb. 26-28, then head to the Nashville College Baseball Series the following weekend to play Virginia Tech, Ohio State, and Vanderbilt.

Highlights of Cincinnati’s home non-conference schedule include late-season battles against Xavier (May 4) and Michigan (May 18).

Opening Day is set for Feb. 19, with the Bearcats’ opening on the road at Western Carolina. After a three-game set against the Catamounts, UC will play midweek games at Gardner-Webb (Feb. 23) and USC Upstate (Feb. 24) before making its trip to Jacksonville. The schedule for the Live Like Lou Jax College Baseball Classic will be announced at a later date.

Cincinnati’s home opener will be Tuesday, March 2 vs. Western Kentucky. After its trip to Nashville, UC will host Ball State (March 9) and South Alabama (March 12-14) in non-conference action as well.

A road game at Miami (Ohio) on March 16 will precede the first Big 12 series of the year, with the Bearcats heading to Utah (March 19-21). After midweek game at rival Xavier (March 23), Cincinnati will play eight of the next nine games at home. The first Big 12 home series of the year will come against Houston (March 25-27), and following a road game at Kent State (March 29) UC will host the Golden Flashes (March 31) before a three-game series vs. Arizona (April 2-4) and a home game against the Miami RedHawks (April 6).

After its series at Texas Tech (April 9-11), Cincinnati will host Wright State on April 13 in Joe Nuxhall Classic play. The second game of the Joe Nuxhall Classic will also be played at UC Baseball Stadium, with either Miami or Xavier coming to Clifton on April 20.

Big 12 play resumes with a home series vs. TCU (April 23-25) and a road series at West Virginia (April 30-May 2) before Cincinnati welcomes Xavier on May 4.

The home stretch of the regular season features a home series vs. Kansas State (May 7-9), plus road games at Wright State (May 11) and Baylor (May 14-16). The final four games of the regular season will be played at home; Cincinnati hosts Michigan on May 18 before playing UCF (May 20-22) on the final weekend of the year.

The 2027 Big 12 Tournament presented by Allstate, scheduled for May 25-29, will once against take place in Surprise, Ariz.

Head coach Jordan Bischel is entering his fourth season with the program and has put together the strongest three-year stretch in school history. UC has won 103 games over the last three seasons, the most in any three-year stretch in program history, and has advanced to back-to-back NCAA Tournaments for the first time ever.

Bischel’s squad returns a plethora of talent, including reigning Big 12 Freshman of the Year Enzo Infelise, All-American and single-season home run king Quinton Coats, USA Baseball alum Derrick Pitts, and All-Big 12 honorees Adam Buczkowski, Connor Blue, and Ryan Tyranski.
