TicketsCINCINNATI – The Cincinnati women’s golf team opened the 2026-27 season with a sixth-place finish at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational at the University of Kentucky’s Big Blue Course in Lexington, Ky.
The Bearcats finished sixth among 13 teams, led by senior Ellise Rymer, who tied the program record with a five-under 67 in Monday’s opening round.
Rymer finished sixth individually at five-under 211, marking a new career-low 54-hole score. She recorded 12 birdies and an eagle across the three rounds.
Sophomore Angela Gomez tied for 26th with a 219. Gomez opened the tournament with a career-low 71 and finished the event at three over par.
Freshman Eline Chau-Hu made her collegiate debut with a 222 to tie for 33rd. She posted a two-under 70 in the opening round.
Freshman Mai Mai Wimonwan finished 48th at 228, improving six spots on the leaderboard in Tuesday’s final round.
Lauren Pleiman rounded out the Cincinnati lineup with a 232 (58th).
Cincinnati returns to action next week at the Powercat Classic, hosted by Kansas State, Monday and Tuesday in Manhattan, Kan.
