TicketsCINCINNATI – Cincinnati women’s golf returns to action Monday and Tuesday at the Powercat Classic at Colbert Hills Golf Club in Manhattan, Kan.
The two-day event will be played on the par-72, 6,503-yard Colbert Hills Golf Club. The tournament opens Monday with 36 holes, followed by an 18-hole final round Tuesday. Both days are scheduled for a 9:30 a.m. ET shotgun start.
Cincinnati’s lineup features senior Ellise Rymer, sophomore Angela Gomez, freshman Eline Chau-Hu, freshman Mai Mai Wimonwan and freshman Staci Pla. Senior Lauren Pleiman will be competing as an individual.
The 12-team field includes host Kansas State, South Dakota State, Kennesaw State, Monmouth, Missouri-St. Louis, Bethune-Cookman, Central Arkansas, Incarnate Word, Loyola Chicago, Creighton and Tarleton State.
Cincinnati finished second at last season’s Powercat Invitational, with three Bearcats placing inside the individual top 10. Rymer, who returns for her senior season, notched a seventh-place finish.
Last time out, Cincinnati opened the 2026-27 season with a sixth-place finish at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational at the University of Kentucky’s Big Blue Course in Lexington, Ky.
The Bearcats opened the tournament with a seven-under 281, highlighted by three players shooting under par. Rymer led the way with a five-under 67, tying the program record for the lowest 18-hole score.
Rymer finished sixth individually at five-under 211, recording a career-low 54-hole score. She tallied 12 birdies and an eagle across the three rounds.
Gomez tied for 26th at 219. She opened the tournament with a career-low 71 and finished three-over par. Chau-Hu made her collegiate debut with a 222 to tie for 33rd. She carded a two-under 70 in the opening round.
