TicketsFAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Cincinnati women’s golf team completed the opening round of the Blessings Collegiate Invitational on Saturday at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark.
The Bearcats sit in eighth place after the first day of competition. Cincinnati will play 18 holes Sunday before wrapping up the tournament with the final 18 holes Monday.
Freshman Mai Mai Wimonwan paced the Bearcats with a team-low 78 and sits tied for 29th. She recorded four birdies on the back nine.
Staci Pla and Ellise Rymer are tied for 33rd after carding 79s, while Angela Gomez (T41st) and Eline Chau-Hu (T47th) round out the Bearcats' lineup.
Competing as an individual, Lauren Pleiman sits in 43rd after posting an 83.
