The Bearcats competed at the ITA Fall Ohio Valley Regional Championship, co-hosted with Miami (OH) at the Lindner Family Tennis Center earlier this month. Sophomore Tara Kurepa and freshman Elizabeth Fauchet each won two qualifying matches to advance to the singles main draw, while senior Gabby Guenther advanced to the round of 32 in singles after defeating Miami (OH). In doubles, Guenther and Kurepa advanced to the round of 16 with a win over Miami (OH) before falling to Tennessee. Freshmen Dani Forte and Emme Bull also picked up a doubles victory over Southern Indiana, while Fauchet and Sara Watanabe defeated Western Kentucky to advance to the round of 32. Cincinnati will look to build on that experience as it prepares to face several familiar regional opponents, including Lipscomb, Miami (OH), Middle Tennessee State, Butler, and Chattanooga.
