CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati baseball team hosts Dayton on Saturday in a fall exhibition game. First pitch is set for 1:00 p.m. at UC Baseball Stadium.
The Bearcats and Flyers will play 14 innings. The game is open to the public and admission is free, with limited concessions available for purchase.
Cincinnati has already played two games this fall, winning 12-6 at Purdue on Sept. 27 and taking down Kentucky, 13-4, at Prasco Park last weekend.
At the plate, Cincinnati has seen Ryan Morel, Landyn Dykes, and Luke Kosko homer against the competition this fall. On the mound, Zach Robinsin has pitched in both games and has struck out four across five strong innings. Beckett Doane and Connor Osier lead the pitching staff with seven strikeouts apiece.
UC’s final fall exhibition game will be next Saturday, Oct. 17 vs. Xavier. The Bearcats and Musketeers will face off at UC Baseball Stadium at 2:00 p.m.
In addition, Cincinnati will hold its annual Red vs. Black World Series beginning next week. Game one will be Thursday, Oct. 15, game two is set for Tuesday, Oct. 20, and the final game will be held on Thursday, Oct. 22. These games will be free to attend and open to the public. Game times will be announced this week.
