TicketsCINCINNATI – The Cincinnati women's tennis team opened play at the Bonita Bay Collegiate Open in Bonita Springs, Fla., on Friday. The first day consisted of doubles followed by singles against Memphis.
Three Bearcat pairs hit the courts for doubles: Guenther/Kurepa, Fauchet/Popovski, and Bull/Forte, but fell to Memphis.
In singles, Cincinnati earned a victory through freshman Dani Forte, who defeated Moeller of Memphis 6-3, 6-4. Guenther, Kurepa, Popovski, Fuduric, and Bull also made singles appearances, but did not find wins.
The Bearcats will continue play in Bonita Springs Saturday and Sunday, with the schedule as follows:
