The Pete Ehrlich Endowed Scholarship Fund has been established to support a University of Cincinnati student with an annual academic scholarship who embodies the values and strong leadership qualities that Pete Ehrlich taught and exemplified for decades on campus; leaders that represent their community/team through integrity, respect, and hard work.
For the last 30 years, Pete has led the Athletes in Action ministry on the University of Cincinnati campus, where the majority of his time has been spent with the football. baseball, track and field, soccer and cheerleading teams.
Pete grew up on a farm in northern Colorado where he later graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in Business Administration. After graduation, Pete traveled to Istanbul, Turkey on a mission's trip. This trip led to him joining the campus ministry, Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) in 1985. Pete's first ministry assignment was on the campus of Idaho State University, where he met his wife Jamie. They have four children, Dillon, Amanda, Vance and Cade.
