  • One of UC's top interior linemen of all-time.
  • Played in the North-South college all-star game at the conclusion of his UC career.
  • Taken in the second round of the 1961 NFL draft by Green Bay where he became an anchor on the defensive line of the successful Packer teams of the 1960s.
  • Contributed to Green Bay's NFL titles in 1961, 1962 and 1965 and helped the Packers win the first two Super Bowls in 1966 and 1967.
  • Member of the Baltimore Colts' 1969 NFL title team.
  • UC Athletic Hall of Fame 1985.
