HIGH SCHOOL: Attended John Diefenbaker Senior School in Hanover, Ontario, competing in the Bluewater conference... As a freshman, won OFSAA provincial championships in the 4km cross country, 3000m and 1500m, and helped the team place eighth at OFSAA... As a sophomore, repeated as OFSAA provincial champion in the 5km cross country, 3000m and 1500m... Helped set a Canadian U18/U20 record in the DMR as a sophomore... As a junior, earned a provincial bronze medal in the 1500m and posted a personal-best 2:10.51 in the 800m at the University of Toronto Night meet... Helped Team Ontario claim bronze at the Canadian XC Nationals as a junior... As a senior, placed fourth in the 6K at the OFSAA provincial championship and eighth at the Canadian nationals 6K... Won indoor national titles in both the 1500m and 800m as a senior, added a provincial bronze in the 800m, and ran a 1500m personal best of 4:33.65 at the Hamilton Twilight meet... Coached by Brian Hilbers all four years... Also played varsity soccer as a freshman and sophomore and served as an athletic council member... Earned the Most Dedicated to Their Sport award...
