TicketsHIGH SCHOOL: Attended William Mason High School... Competed in the GMC (Greater Miami Conference)... As a freshman, ran a 16:57 in the 5K and helped the team win a state championship, along with GMC, district and regional titles... As a sophomore, improved to 16:45 in the 5K and helped the team finish as state runner-up while winning GMC, regional and district championships... As a junior, broke through with a 15:07 5K and 9:13 3200m, winning both the GMC and district cross country titles as well as the GMC 3200m title, while the team captured a state championship along with GMC and regional titles... As a senior under coach Tim Pitcher, posted times of 14:55 in the 5K, 9:11 in the 3200m and 4:16 in the 1600m, winning GMC titles in cross country, the 1600m and the 3200m, and was named GMC Runner of the Year... Helped the team win GMC and regional titles in both cross country and track as a senior... Coached by Tom Rapp for three years.
