Continued his outstanding ascent by earning Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist recognition late in the season...Finished as the Big 12's top safety according to PFF (85.0)...Played in all 13 games with six starts, totaling 59 tackles (career-high 11 against BYU)...Had a sack and fumble recovery in the Kansas win...Forced fumbles in back-to-back weeks against Northwestern State and Kansas...All six starts came in either Big 12 play or the Liberty Bowl.
