• First-Team All-American Athletic Conference
• Team captain is a former hockey player who got his first football playing experience at UC during a redshirt year in 2015.
• Played professionally in the Southern Professional Hockey League before coming to UC as a walk-on.
• Started 25 games over his last two seasons at UC.
• Started 12 games in 2019 and missed two due to injury, earning First-Team All-American Athletic Conference honors. Helped UC rank in the top half of the league in rushing offense as Michael Warren II became the first UC back to run for 1,000 or more yards in back-to-back seasons since 2010-11.
• Team closed the 2019 season with an American Athletic Conference East Division Championship, win in the TicketSmarter Birmingham Bowl and the No. 21 spot in all three major polls (Associated Press, USA Today, College Football Playoff).
2018
• Started all 13 games at right guard, his first significant action in a UC uniform.
• Part of an offensive line unit which set a school record with 3,113 rushing yards, surpassing a mark set in 1970.
2017
• Saw action in five games as a backup offensive lineman and special teamer
• Part of an offensive line which surrendered nine less sacks than it did a year ago, ranking in the top half of the league.
2016
• Played in 10 games as a backup tackle and on the field goal and extra point units.
2015
• Redshirted.
PRIOR TO UC
• Did not play high school football
• Spent time after graduation playing hockey in the Southern Professional Hockey League.
