POST UC CAREER: Selected by Arizona in the 2018 NFL draft. Was the 36th pick of the seventh round, the 254th overall draft pick and the Cardinals final selection of the draft. He was one of 18 American Athletic Conference players chosen over the three-day draft. Played in the 2018 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. Cunningham arrived at UC in 2013 as a 220-pound tight end and through hard work and dedication, worked his way into a 315-pound offensive lineman. 
 
2017 (Senior): A Second-Team All-American Athletic Conference selection in 2017, Cunningham was one of UC's senior tri-captains. He closed his career out starting 24-straight games at left tackle and racked up 33 career appearances. He anchored an offensive line that gave up nine less sacks than it did a year ago, ranking in the top half of the league. He earned a bachelor's degree in health education in April 2017 and took home the Bearcats' Jim Kelly Spirit Award at the team's postseason senior awards banquet. 

2016 (Junior): Started 12 games at left tackle, his first significant game action at UC … was on the field for 831 of UC’s 850 offensive plays this season.

2015 (Sophomore): Saw the field in nine of 12 games this season … Blocked for a Bearcats offense which ranked fifth nationally in total offense (559.4 yards per game), fourth nationally in passing offense (373.1 yards per game) and fourth in the conference in rushing offense (186.3 yards per game).

2014 (Redshirt Freshman): Part of an offensive line unit which tallied the second highest yardage total (5,982) in school history in 2014 ... Bearcats ranked in the top five in the American Athletic Conference in scoring offense (2/35.4), passing offense (2/300.2), rushing offense (4/157.6) and total offense (2/457.8) ... UC surrendered only 16 sacks, second in the league.

2013 (Freshman): Redshirted.

High School: A three-star prospect by Scout.com and 247Sports.com ... a two-star choice by Rivals.com ... ranked among the Top-60 tight ends in the nation ... made the Al.com All-Shelby team as a defensive end ... had 45 tackles and four sacks ... named to the All-Metro preseason team by the Birmingham News at tight end ... has a bench press max of 315 pounds ... limited to 12 catches as a junior ... spent most of his junior year playing on the offensive line due to players being injured ... also played baseball and basketball for his high school ... coached by Andrew Zow ... chose UC over UAB, Ole Miss and Auburn.
