Four-year student-athlete on the football team medically retired following the 2019 season and stayed with the program as a student assistant coach, working with the offense.

2019: The Bearcats' third QB saw action against UConn, rushing once for two yards ... served as the backup QB during the regular-season finale at Memphis ... earned his bachelor's degree in communication in May 2019 ... named to the 2019 AAC All-Academic Team.

2018: Saw action in three games, making his UC debut against Alabama A&M and taking snaps at UConn and at Temple ... rushed three times for a career-best 15 yards against Alabama A&M ... also tallied a career-long rush of 12 yards and attempted his first collegiate pass.

2017: Did not see any game action.

2016: Redshirted

PRIOR TO UC: Enrolled at UC in January 2016 to participate in spring football ... a three-star prospect by 247Sports.com and ESPN.com ... ranked as one of the Top-50 QBs in the 2016 class ... big-armed, accurate passer who has the ability to develop into a strong pro-style QB ... his HS coach calls him ‘the real deal’ ... finished his prep career going 453-of-702 for 6,447 yards and 64 TDs over 11 interceptions ... an Associated Press Division II First-Team All-Ohio honoree in 2015 ... 2015 Southwestern Conference Offensive Player of the Year and an All-SWC selection ... completed 65 percent of his passes for 2,863 yards and 31 touchdowns to just three interceptions his senior year ... helped lead Avon to back-to-back appearances in the Region 4 semifinals ... had a 20-4 record as a high school signal caller ... tabbed as a third-team All-Ohio selection his junior season ... named to the Morning-Journal All-Star Team, First-Team All-Lorain County and AP Great Lakes First-Team All-Northeast District in both 2014 and 2015 ... earned All-West Shore Conference honors in 2014 ... as a junior starter for the Eagles, threw for 2,864 yards and 24 TDs while leading Avon to a D-II regional semifinal and added 119 yards and three scores on the ground ... turned heads as a sophomore when he call off the bench in the middle of the 2013 Division II regional final, throwing for 244 yard and two TDs, nearly leading Avon to a win over Medina Highland ... four-year varsity letterwinner ... also played baseball ... coached by Mike Elder.
