Dynamic defensive playmaker who finished sixth in the conference and third on the team with 94 tackles while also adding nine for loss and a team-high four interceptions...Just a sophomore, he collected All-AAC Honorable Mention...Named the AAC Defensive Player of the Week following Indiana game in which he had a crucial interception and career-high 10 tackles...His field-goal block at Navy and subsequent return set up Alex Bales’ 52-yard field goal on next play to close the first half...Of his four interceptions, the first was a 39-yard return to set up the icing touchdown late at Indiana, while another went for 27-yards into the deep red zone at Notre Dame the following game... Others were against UCF and South Florida...Also had nine tackles against Navy and eight against Miami and Temple...Tallied nine tackles and a half-tackle for loss versus No. 1 Alabama in the College Football Playoff Semifinals at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.
