Jason Achauer (ak-ow-er) joined the University of Cincinnati equipment staff in July 2018 as an assistant equipment manager working with the football team.
The 2018 UC graduate assists Director of Football Equipment Dalvin Jones in the day-to-day operations of the football equipment room in the Richard E. Lindner Center.
Achauer's responsibilities include the maintenance and organization of all football practice and game equipment, laundry, fitting, and helping oversee the student assistant program.
His responsibilities for home and away games and practices consist of the setup and teardown of Nippert Stadium, UC's home and game locker rooms, as well as ensuring equipment is ready for travel.
He worked as a student manager while an undergrad from 2015-18.
Achauer was a training camp intern for the Tennessee Titans sports medicine staff in 2015 and 2016.
The Columbus, Ohio native earned a bachelor's degree in sports administration from Cincinnati in 2018.
