Seth Price enters his first season as a quality control coach at Cincinnati in 2023, where he will specialize in offensive line development.
Price served in a similar role as an offensive analyst under head coach Scott Satterfield at Louisville from 2019-22. He was elevated to interim offensive line coach for the 2022 WASABI Fenway Bowl. With the Cardinals, Price was involved in weekly film breakdown, individual practice drills and position meetings and recruiting elements with the offensive line unit from 2021-22 after working with the running backs from 2019-20.
Price helped Louisville to a top-30 finish nationally in rushing offense each of the last four seasons, most recently ranking 23rd and second in the ACC with a rushing attack that saw three starters on the offensive line earn All-ACC selections in 2022.
In his first season with the Cardinals in 2019, Price helped Javian Hawkins finish 11th nationally and eclipse the single-season program rushing record with 1,525 yards en route to All-ACC Second Team honors. Overall, Price was involved with the development of seven All-ACC selections and assisted the Cardinals to three bowl appearances.
Prior to Louisville, Price had a two-season stint at Arkansas State from 2017-18, where he was promoted to a quality control position with the special teams and running backs in 2018 after serving as a student assistant in 2017. During his two seasons with the Red Wolves, the program won 15 games and made appearances in the 2017 Camellia Bowl and 2018 Arizona Bowl.
In 2018, Price assisted Frank Broyles Award nominee Norval McKenzie with all game planning for a special teams unit that set an NCAA Record in punt return defense with minus-15 yards allowed, ranked sixth nationally in kickoff return defense and 14th in net punting. He was instrumental in the development of Cody Grace, who was named a semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award. Price was also involved in a running backs room that saw Marcel Murray earn Sun Belt Freshman of the Year honors.
Price earned his bachelor’s degree in English Education from Arkansas State in 2018.
