Sherry Murray
Sherry Murray has been an indispensable member of the Cincinnati Athletics Department since 2008. 
 
Since 2011, she has served as the Assistant to the Head Football Coach. In her current role, she works closely with Scott Satterfield, overseeing all day-to-day administrative duties and operations of the football office. 
 
Additionally, she supervises student staff, leads event-planning and assists with recruiting efforts for the football program. She also serves as the athletic department liaison for football families and is a member of the department’s One Team Committee. 

In 2023, she was a keynote honoree at the Mercy McAuley High School Women Who Inspire banquet. 

Prior to joining the football staff, Murray served as the administrative coordinator in the UCATS office from 2008 to 2010 where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the UCATS office and coordination of all UCATS events. 
 
Before coming to UC, she was employed by the Northwest Local School District from 1999 to 2008, working as the assistant to the head football coach and assistant principal as well as in the school board administration office of student services. 
 
The lifelong Cincinnati resident earned her associate degree in applied business from the University of Cincinnati in 1991 and her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies in 2000. 
 
She and her husband Mark, who everyone knows as ‘Droopy,’ are the proud parents of Jacob and Luke Murray. Murray is also the stepmother to Matt Murray and guardian to Leanne Shollenbarger.
