Tim Crowell is a true point guard. He can score in a number of ways, but he is a pass-first guy who prefers to create opportunities for his teammates. Crowell has great speed with the ball, making him very capable of pushing the offense up court. He also possesses excellent leadership skills which are so important to the point guard position. PRE-CINCINNATI CAREER:
• Earned first team all-conference honors in the competitive Western Junior College Athletic Conference as a sophomore at Midland College in 2005-06.
• Averaged 11.0 points and led the league with his 7.5 assists.
• Also averaged 4.2 rebounds and 3.0 steals while leading Midland to a 27-6 record and the championship game of the NJCAA Region V tournament.
• Helped team to a 27-6 record, a No. 8 ranking nationally and the regional championship in 2006.
• Earned honorable mention all-league honors as a freshman, and was second in the conference in assists (6.3).
• Played basketball and track at Sandia High in Albuquerque.
• Earned all-district and all-state honors as a senior.
• Led team to a runner-up finish in the state tournament in 2004.
• Qualified for the state track and field championships.

• Born Feb. 19, 1986 in Long Beach, Calif...son of Leroy and Bertha Holmes...has two older brothers...likes watching movings and haning out with friends in his spare time.
